Vision Statement The Village, Downtown Grosse Pointe, is the retail center of the community; the focal point for civic events and social interaction; a gathering place for young and old. This pre-eminent position is maintained by offering customers convenience, service, fashion and quality that is unique in the marketplace. Independent, regional and national stores, that embrace the full-service retail concept, provide complimentary strengths that benefit the whole. Commercial office and residential use of space, within defined areas of the Village, support the retail activity and desirable components. An attractive, clean and well-maintained environment enhances the Village experience and demonstrates commitment to customers and community alike. Mission Statement The Grosse Pointe Village Association is a voluntary organization established to maintain and enhance the viability of the commercial area on Kercheval, between Cadieux and Neff Roads, in the City of Grosse Pointe. This is accomplished through advertising, public relations and special events that promote awareness of the area throughout the region. We inform and educate our members with regard to Village operations, good business practices and other matters of mutual concern. We also maintain relationships with the City of Grosse Pointe, the Village landlords, rental agents and other parties to foster a strong, full-service mix of retail, office and residential use.
